How Do You Decide Who to Marry? (decided by kids)

So....you all know i can NOT go to the anime convention, right? okay then.

soooooo....

my sister, her friends, and i go to jamba juice and get drinks whatever, so when it was my turn to order, i was holding my art binder and the guy behind the counter saw the picture on the back and asked, "oh is that your art book?" I said yes, "Oh do you like anime?" I also said yes, with a smile, "so are you going to the anime convention?" i turn sad and look at kim and start tearing up unintentionally [Kim's friends:"Whoa! guilt trip!"]. Kim and the guy feels so bad and Kim explains how nobody would be home to take me and the guy starts to apologizing and feeling bad, and as we turn to go to our table the guy calls me back over and gives me two coupons or whatever for free drinks and explains how bad he felt making me cry.. i head back to our table and all of Kim's friends are so impressed that the guy gave me free drinks [i gave one of the coupons to Kim since she had payed for my drink]. And as we're leaving [after we all finished our drinks] i yell to the guy, "have fun at the anime convention!" but before i left he asks me,
"hey, whats your favorite anime?"
"ouran high school host club...?"
"ok cool! i'll get you stuff at the convention! come back here sunday night and i'll give them to you!" i was so happy, kims and her friends were even more impressed, and one of kims friends offered to pick up the stuff for me since it would be a sunday.

[re-reading what i just typed]
i have a bad problem with tense usage. [past present or future? the world may never know!]

so yeah, i'm so excited.
if any of you guys wanna score me some cheap stuff at the convention[ ], i'll be eternally grateful.

Oh yeah oh yeah oh YEAH!
Guys, do NOT forget to bring cameras, all of your cameras. Take lots of pictures and videos and send them to me somehow. even if i cant go i still wanna see the memories!
